Matt:sourceforge sucks

wordpress的作者Matt在future of web apps会议上说 “sourceforge sucks!! it tooks you 6 clicks to download a file.”
sourceforge确实应该稍微改进一下整个系统的某些部分了…除了Matt提到的这个,还有例如文件发布(File Release)设计得有点geeky…要做一个release,必须得登陆一个匿名FTP,上传你要发布的文件,然后在登陆文件发布系统,在一个列表(根据FTP里的文件来列出所有)里选择你的文件.文件发布的几个步骤,都在同一个页面里的几个不同表单.不注意的话,有可能填写了不同表单里的东西,然后提交某个表单,这样就导致其他表单里所填写的数据丢失…
不过目前所有的项目管理平台里,sourceforge应该是最完善的一个..版本控制(svn,cvs),文件发布和下载系统,bug系统,文档系统,邮件列表,web,shell,FTP等等这些在sf里都提供了.
